This ad serves as legal notice that the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Governing Board will meet on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Lake-Sumter MPO, 1300 Citizens Blvd., Suite 175, Leesburg, Florida, 34748. The Board will be approving the MPOs Draft FY 2021/22 – 2025/26 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The public is encouraged to participate in the adoption of the Transportation Improvement Program process. The TIP is a federally-required document that all Metropolitan Planning Organizations are required to develop annually and represents the transportation improvements that have been programmed for the five years. This TIP includes the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Program of Projects (POP) for Section 5307 Funding to provide Fixed Route Transit service for Lake County. The development of the TIP satisfies the federal public participation requirements for the POP.

All interested citizens are welcome to attend.
