Vision Zero Safety Action Plan

The Lake-Sumter MPO has adopted a goal of zero killed and serious injury crashes by the year 2050 to align with MPO’s 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan and statewide initiatives. While the MPO is not an implementing agency, it works to program and fund transportation projects and support policies aligned with the LSMPO Vision Zero Action Plan. The commitment to zero killed and serious injury crashes by 2050 will be accomplished through a variety of regional partnerships including FDOT, Lake County, Sumter County, and local municipalities.   Read the Executive Summary | Read the Draft Report
