Pamela Richmond, AICP
Pamela Richmond joined the LSMPO in January 2009. She brings with her 13 years of experience as a transportation planner. Her past work includes several years with FDOT’s Office of Policy Planning as Statewide Public Involvement Coordinator where she acted as Project Manager for the 2020 Florida Transportation Plan Update.
Pam has worked for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise in the capacity of Special Projects Manager for Planning where she conducted planning feasibility studies for potential limited access toll facilities, most notably, the Heartland Parkway.
Her experience also includes private consulting work where she honed her technical skills in comprehensive planning and concurrency management.
At the LSMPO, Pamela will serve as a Project Manager, applying her expertise to projects such as the 2035 Transportation Plan and assisting in maintaining the concurrency database for the region.
Pam was born in Houston, Texas, but has been a resident of Florida for the past 15 years. She earned a BS in ISS/Planning and a MS in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University. Pam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association, and Women’s Transportation Seminar.
