Representing the Town of Montverde – Council Member Joe Wynkoop
Originally from upstate New York, Joe Wynkoop has been a Florida resident for over 20 years. For the last 10 years Joe has lived in Montverde, witnessing first hand the changes that Lake County has experienced with growth and development.
Joe was recently elected to Montverde Town Council after serving for over 7 years on the town’s Planning and Zoning Board, where he took an active role in making sure that future development in the town was in line with the electorate’s wishes.
In addition to his political responsibilities, Joe is an experienced businessman. After many years as the Vice President for a major national corporation, Joe is now the owner of two local businesses.
Joe is an active member of his local Church and volunteers with several local charities. In his free time, he likes to play golf and spend time with Sue, his wife of 11 years.
